meet llauren

My name is Lauren! I am a retired collegiate athlete who found a passion for working out when I was no longer able to do the one thing I knew how to do for the previous 20 years…sports. I, like many of you, began as a newbie to the gym. I had to overcome the fear of looking “silly” in the gym and learning how to work the complicated looking machines. I spent hours in the cardio section because I was intimidated by the weights sections. I know what it is like to be intimidated by the gym and I am here to help you become confident in and out of the gym. I used to look for hacks and quick fixes for dieting. I tried everything and only found myself back at square one. It wasn’t until I educated myself, that I learned how to live a balanced life. Now, I’m ready to share how you too can create a balanced life. 

 

I began my Personal Training career after I received my Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science in 2018. In 2020, I obtained my Certification in Personal Training and Fitness Nutrition via American Council on Exercise and my Masters Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics (my full time job). I continue to educate myself on nutrition and exercise daily as this is my passion outside of my full time medical field career! 

 

My goal working with you is that you will learn how to create healthy, sustainable habits that you can apply to your life, for the rest of your life! You are not just a number here! So, welcome!
